Dillon is keen on a cleaner energy future and uses this passion to help further commercial engagement with incentive-based energy efficiency programs. Before joining Waypoint, he earned a Master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Policy. Dillon utilized this expertise to drive community solar participation and consult with the Minnesota Property Assessed Clean Energy program. Outside of work, he can be found bouldering with friends, exploring local breweries, or lounging near one of Minnesota’s gorgeous lakes.
Austin is currently the healthcare and data centers energy advisor for an Existing Buildings program in Oregon. Previously, Austin worked with the Industrial Assessment Center at Oregon State University as an energy analyst; and with the Existing Buildings program as an account manager, energy advisor, and engineer. Outside of work, Austin prefers to make an impact by walking and biking instead of driving and converting his lawn into a native garden habitat. In his spare time Austin enjoys reading fantasy novels, gaming (of many kinds), skiing, and fencing.
Kristina rejoins our team to support the Oregon North Coast as energy analyst for the Existing Buildings Program. Her background in commercial real estate planning, economic modeling, and landscape architecture enable her to be a resource for sustainable solutions. She values working with strategic partners to enhance holistic thinking. On the weekend, Kristina can be found earning her amateur botanist badge on the trails; tending to her garden; and going to the beach with her dog Roscoe.
Nikki Burton

Nikki relies on her love of communication and networking to engage with folks in the government sector, planning for and implementing energy efficiency measures. She works with stakeholders in different local, state, and federal agencies, helping prioritize and manage project timelines. Nikki loves spending time with her family, specifically playing board and card games (Cribbage!), traveling, and learning new trivia facts.
Johnathon Fata

Johnathon oversees the design and implementation of Waypoint’s programs nationally, collaborating closely with CRE and utility partners to increase building performance. In a former life, he spent his days working with regulators and utilities to accelerate the adoption of renewables. During the weekend, you’ll usually find him somewhere in the outdoors with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.

Ian is an Industrial Engineer with a longstanding commitment to energy efficiency. He works with utility programs to provide outreach and customer education for their energy efficiency incentive programs and helps drive projects to implementation and through to completion. In his personal time he enjoys traveling to find nature, live music, quality art, great sandwiches and uncommon experiences.
Nate Ford

Nate is driven to find ways for smarter energy use in the New Buildings sector. Prior to joining Waypoint, he worked in education both as a high school English teacher and as a development member at a small nonprofit. In his free time, he loves to play tennis in the park, go rafting on one of Oregon’s beautiful rivers, or relax in the backyard with his wife and dog.

Mitchell utilizes both his educational and professional background to help drive incentive-based energy efficiency programs in the affordable multifamily sector. Prior to joining waypoint Mitchell worked with one of the top affordable housing investment corporations in the state of California. Where he gained the knowledge and skills to help promote energy savings within the industry. When Mitchell is not at work, he loves to be in the outdoors with his two dogs, coaching youth basketball, and playing recreational sports.
Alex Kampf

Alex is an Environmental and Ecological Engineer with a love for systems efficiency. He's all about improving water and energy usage across multiple industries. Alex leverages localized sustainability solutions to deliver energy efficiency to grocery and retail customers in Oregon. Off the clock, you'll find Alex crafting in his workshop, attending live music, or peacefully wandering through nature.
Jesse King

Jesse’s uses his background in energy services and program management to help clients in the commercial sector access incentives to optimize the efficiency and performance of their new building projects. Jesse is driven by his passion for the environment and his desire to drive carbon emission reductions in commercial spaces. In his free time, Jesse is a musician, athlete, and father who loves the outdoors, music, sports and spending quality time with friends and family.

Brian uses his engineering background and eye for analytics to help commercial real estate partners translate building performance into energy savings. He has a knack for finding projects that increase NOI and asset value, and align with energy efficiency incentive programs. In his free time, Brian can be found at his neighborhood bar for weekly trivia or searching for a new podcast to listen to.
Jenn Loukotka

Jenn’s focus on improving the built environment and driving an advanced energy economy includes over 12 years of experience in the energy industry. Between managing utility energy efficiency programs in the both the residential and commercial sector and years of market research, Jenn has a deep understanding of successful program design and execution. In her free time, you can find her in the wood shop working on furniture projects or running around after her son.
Sari Mira

With a background in Renewable and Clean Energy Engineering, Sari has worked in both Energy and Program Management in the Energy Sector. Sari helps Commercial Real Estate businesses operate their building portfolios at optimal conditions to maximize energy efficiency, and minimize waste. Outside of work, Sari enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially outdoors, playing soccer, and attending festivals.
Dan Piper

Dan uses his passion for project management and community engagement to bring energy incentives to clients in North-Eastern Oregon for the Existing Buildings Program. With a background in maintenance and engineering, he strives to help his local communities with efficiency and conservation. In his free time, he loves hunting, fishing, and exploring the wonderful outdoors that Oregon has to offer.

Joe works to bring financial incentives to clients in the large office sector for the Existing Building Program. He uses his property and project management background, along with his passion for conservation, to assist clients in the upgrade process. Outside of work Joe loves cooking, playing and listening to music, and traveling with his wife.
